Church Planting Residency

Mercy Gate Church believes in churches that plant churches. We have a Church Planting Residency program where we train, support, and send out church planters across our region. Our Church Planting Residents will spend six months to a year at our church training to plant in our region all while laying the groundwork for a new Church Plant.

Andy Daniel - Sent Out

Springfield, MO

Andy and his wife Tabitha joined us in 2021 with their three children. Andy studied Pastoral Studies at Baptist Bible College & Theological Seminary in Springfield, MO.

Andy is the Lead Pastor of Mercy Gate Church in Box Elder, SD.

Matt Price - Sent Out

Atlanta, GA

Matt and his family joined us in 2018.  After serving as youth minister at Mercy Gate for 3 years, he became the Lead Pastor at the replant of Connection Church in Sturgis, SD in December of 2021.
